An experience we would choose again without hesitation

Choosing the right place for the pregnancy, birth and care of your wife and baby is not a decision you take lightly. From the beginning of our pregnancy journey, we wanted a place where we would not simply feel like another patient, but where we would receive personal attention, guidance, reassurance and genuine care.

Our experience with PMB Care and Sister Dikeledi gave us exactly that.

From the antenatal period through to delivery and the postnatal care, we consistently felt that we were in caring and capable hands. The appointments were not just about checking numbers and moving on. We were able to ask questions, discuss concerns, understand what was happening, and prepare ourselves for the birth. There was a sense of familiarity and personal connection that made the pregnancy journey much more comfortable.

As the due date approached, we had the reassurance of knowing that we had a midwife who knew our journey and understood our preferences. When labour finally started on the night of 6 July 2026, everything became very real. Our daughter was born safely on 7 July.

Looking back now, more than two months later, we appreciate the experience even more. Our daughter is doing well, and our journey did not simply end at delivery. The care and follow-up after birth were also an important part of our experience.

What stood out most to us was the personal, calm and respectful approach. We never felt that our questions were a burden. We felt listened to, supported and reassured throughout the journey. There was also a genuine warmth in the way we were treated—not only as expectant parents, but as a family.

We are especially grateful to Sister Dikeledi and the entire PMB Care team for being part of such an important chapter of our lives. Bringing a child into the world is something you remember forever, and we are thankful that our experience with PMB Care is a memory we can look back on with gratitude.

Would we choose PMB Care again?

Absolutely. Without hesitation.

If we are blessed with another pregnancy in the future, PMB Care is a place we would choose again and again.

I am so grateful to Sister Dikeledi for the wonderful care and support she gave me throughout my labour and delivery. My labour was long, but she was with me every step of the way, making the experience feel calm, comfortable and reassuring.

She massaged me when I needed it, encouraged me throughout the labour and even prayed for me. Her kindness, patience and gentle presence meant so much to me and made such a beautiful difference to my birthing experience.
