PMBcare pricing (2025/2026)
We provide care at our birth centre, not at a private hospital. Here is exactly what you pay:
Natural birth at our birth centre: R15,000
Payment plan: R7,500 deposit required by 20 weeks. Balance of R7,500 due by 32 weeks.
First prenatal visit: R650
Follow-up prenatal visits: R450 per visit
Emergency consultation: R700
Night callout fee: R700
Postnatal visit: R700

What happens at each prenatal visit?
Your first prenatal visit (R650) includes a full assessment of your pregnancy, health history, risk profile, and a personalised care plan. Sister Dikeledi will walk you through what to expect at every stage.
Follow-up visits (R450 each) are scheduled at 16, 24, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41 weeks. Each visit includes vitals checks, fetal heartbeat monitoring, and discussion of any symptoms or concerns.
PMBcare also provides health education at every visit, covering pregnancy danger signs, nutrition, common physical symptoms like morning sickness and fatigue, and birth preparation.
What if I need care outside of regular hours?
If you need an emergency consultation, the fee is R700. If Sister Dikeledi needs to attend to you at night, a callout fee of R700 applies. These are clear, fixed fees. No surprises.
Postnatal care
After your birth, postnatal visits are available at R700 per visit. Sister Dikeledi checks on both mother and baby, supports breastfeeding, and monitors recovery.
